A little more about this tool
The bass generator outlines chord tones, starting each bar on the chord’s bass note. Sparse rhythms leave more room, moving patterns give a steady pulse, and busy patterns add more notes per bar. A slash chord such as C/E places E on the downbeat. This is a lightweight starting-point generator: edit the notes, vary the rhythm and try different sounds in your own track. Does the MIDI include the bass sound?
No. MIDI stores notes, timing and velocity. Load a bass instrument in your DAW, then import the downloaded file onto that track.
Is it really free?
Yes. Use this tool without an account, subscription or download. Audio files and microphone input stay on your device. Browser format support varies; MP3 and WAV are good starting points.
