A little more about this tool

The builder creates a simple synthesized accompaniment in 4/4 with one chord per bar. Straight, shuffle and half-time styles change the rhythmic feel. Muting your own part leaves room to practise: turn bass off for bass practice, or chords off to work on comping. MIDI exports use channel 1 for chords, channel 2 for bass and channel 10 for drums. Assign suitable sounds in your DAW after importing; drum notes follow common General MIDI mappings.

Are these recordings of famous songs?

No. The tool generates an accompaniment from the chord symbols and settings you provide. It does not reproduce a song recording or isolate its instruments.

Is it really free?

Yes. Use this tool without an account, subscription or download. Audio files and microphone input stay on your device. Browser format support varies; MP3 and WAV are good starting points.
