A little more about this tool
The metronome counts the beat unit you select. At 120 BPM with an eighth-note beat unit, it plays 120 eighth notes per minute. The first beat in each bar is accented, helping you keep your place in meters such as 5/4 or 7/8. Triplets divide each beat evenly into three clicks. Swing delays the second eighth subdivision. Changing controls stops playback so you can restart with a clear downbeat.
